Pet Photography

I think one of my first loves was my childhood cat, Londy.  Pets enter our lives and make our hearts melt over and over again.  As a child I thought I wanted to be a veterinarian because I love animals so much.  These days, as I enter into the world of photography, pets are one of my favorite subjects to photograph.  I just love capturing their personalities in photographs.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Baby Boy

These photos are from back in March, but I had to look at them again since this little boy just turned a year old!  He's got such a sweet demeanor, and the huge baby smile in the last photo is just too cute!

Wedding: 8/9/09

Here are a couple of photos from a recent wedding.  It was a beautiful day for their outdoor ceremony and everyone was in good spirits!  I think my favorite moment was seeing the bride and groom with blue frosting (groom's cake) all over their faces. 

Playground Shoot

What's more fun than hanging out on the monkeybars at the playground?!  I love the soft light and fun expressions in these shots. 

Wedding: 7/17/09

I was so excited to have the opportunity to be the 2nd shooter at this wedding!  Weddings are always such happy events, and this one was certainly no exception.  The bride looked beautiful, the groom looked happy, and the guests looked like they were having a great time!

Newborn Shoot

These photos were taken back in February, and posted on my website for the client to review using an event code.  I don't think she cried even once during the photo shoot, and it was a lot of fun seeing her sweet face for the first time!

I have to admit, I'm excited to start blogging about my adventures in photography!  What a great way to share my passion!  Here goes nothing...
